Weird things happen to me for a reason. I guess. I went to a New Years Eve party. I got drunk (too many glasses of chardonnay). I passed out, and woke up in bed with a woman I didn't know. Then I woke up, and realized that it was all a dream. And I never felt that depressed in my life! I decided to make a few changes this year. The first, I decided to get off my rear and learn how to color digitally with a new Wacom tablet. I used to draw all the time when I was a boy - there was a time that I lived and breathed drawing - but for whatever reason, I gave it up. I don't remember how, why, or when. This morning I was talking to a friend of mine that I've known for almost twenty years. He is considered by others to be very intelligent, phenomenally educated, but in my opinion, is narrow-minded. We often have unique discussions on a wide area of topics - and we talked about parallel realities. My friend is convinced that parallel dimensions exist, but refuses to accept the existence of God. S**t Happens...

I've spent the last three weeks dealing with a serious injury to my ankle, and even with the doctor's assistance, it's healing very slowly. Understandably, it's difficult to get around. The first week was nearly impossible to do even the simplest things - even getting up to use the toilet or shower! The second week was much better, but I'm still limping around badly. Sometimes I think that my ankle will never heal, but I'm not exactly the impatient type, so I just grin and make the best of the situation. I know that it'll heal eventually.
